This is the test mule and development staff of the BAE Pilotless Plane based at BAEs base in Warton Lancashire. In April 2013 this aircraft flew from Warton to Inverness.
It was the first flight in UK airspace by an unmanned aircraft controlled by a remote pilot in Warton with the aircraft making its own routine decisions using a battery of onboard instruments. There was a pilot on board just in case things went wrong, but they were not called into use.
